In the latest Atlantis Rising (March/April 2015, #110) there is an interesting article, ‘Physics with a Twist, Understanding Torsion and the Mystery of Consciousness), by Brendan Murphy. He cites the work of Dr A.A Kosyrev, among others. If you recall I mention Kosyrev in Volume 1 of TNW and his work with Time, the energy he believed was ‘locked in Time’. I quote as per the article,

‘He discovered that human thoughts and feelings generate torsion waves. Such a discovery opens the door for a “physical” understanding of consciousness, and a much more compete model of reality. Kosyrev was able to measure physical effects that were caused by sudden psychological changes (including his own), proving that consciousness is related to vibrations within a fluid-like “etheric” medium, which we may also refer to as a timespace or an “implicate order”. In his ingenious experiments Kosyrev detected minute changes in systems that mimicked psychokinesis using an unknown form of hard-to-detect energy – time itself, he believed – which he pointed out united all existence in a unified field, connecting all things in real-time (thus facilitating nonlocality or “action at a distance”). Changes in mechanical systems produced subtle alterations in the density of time, the etheric medium, as did gravity, thunderstorms, changes in season, and changes in matter density. Likewise, Kosyrev found that consciousness also affected time density. Emotional thoughts produced larger effects on his equipment than did intellectual thoughts….’

It is very interesting that this article brings out the fact that Kosyrev connected these experiments to the emotional/vital. And truly that is the ‘layer’ upon which Time acts – the vital force, prana, the bridge from the other side. If he were alive (apparently he died in 1983) I would certainly have tried my best to contact him. I intuited then that his work was outstanding among other scientists; it brought me to want to delve deeply into the then Soviet Union’s experiments in the paranormal for TNW, if you read the notes I made of the outline for the book, as recorded in my journal in the beginning of 1976.’ The quote continues regarding how the experiments registered more strongly when the emotions were involved:

‘In a conference in 1985 one of his colleagues explained how he was able to register stronger changes when reading Faust (his favourite), “while mathematical calculations did not cause pointer deflections.”… Thus Kosyrev believed that our thoughts could change the density of time. He believed that in mastering the ability to make time dense at will, we would be able to make telepathy occur at will. Under his conception psi phenomena would be stripped of their paranormal trappings and accepted into the world of natural phenomena. These are just a few of the reasons that Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder identified Kosyrev as possibly the most important scientist they spoke with in research for their classic bookPsychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain (p.160-9)…’

Now if he had lived and the work I have done on the new paradigm, he would surely have used those discoveries in his work. I am convinced of it because this ‘making time denser’ would seem to point to the COMPACTION of time I formulated. How exciting he would have been! Just as I am as I read about his work, this scientist that I had admired enough to mention his work in TNW.

‘…Kosyrev discovered that torsion waves can move through space at tremendous speeds – billions of times the speed of light – meaning they propagate in the future and past as well as the present… so tapping into them could facilitate retro- or pre-cognition, psi experienced of temporal nonlocality involving glimpses of the past or future….

‘If you think of torsion waves as connections in the realm of time (or space-time/ ether/implicate order), then instantaneous, telepathic communications between people separated by thousands of miles becomes more comprehensible – and less “paranormal”….’

Certainly here we are in the realm of Simultaneous Time, the three times compacted into the Zero. Perhaps it requires an Indian scientist to make the real breakthrough. How fascinating that this has fallen into my hands, resurrected from the past. How fascinating.

These are two quotes from my posting yesterday on this forum regarding the path-breaking research of the Russian physicist Kosyrev. I was so impressed with his work that when I wrote TNW1-2 in 1977 I included it. What is very interesting is this question of ‘the density of time’, and that he saw it would be influenced through consciousness. I don’t think at the time it was this that struck me; rather it was the energy locked in time of his research. Just this morning, after writing that post yesterday, I took up reading The Tenth Day2/1, in order (hopefully, God willing) to move into Book 2 after going through Book 1 to freshen up, as it were. Lo and behold! I came across this quote from my text as the entry to Part Two, ‘My role…was becoming clear by 1974. It was to densify the process to a greater degree… To achieve this, the role of Time revealed itself to be central to the operation of “densification”; and this would complicate matters co

On page 80 there is an entry from my journal, 12 June 1975 concerning a ‘new understanding of destiny’:

When we move into the dimension of ‘no form’ we have actually reached the finest energy of Time. That is, we have reached and experienced the purest manifestation of Time, of ‘pure Time’.

All work on matter must be a work done with Time, for matter, as we know it, is really the densification of Time…

It is here that work on consciousness becomes necessary, because the only manner in which we can really alter the experience of Time – which then creates a modification in the denser manifestation of itself, which is matter – is in the realm of consciousness. All is consciousness. Out of consciousness arises the power of Time, which is the binding energy that densifies consciousness, and from this forms arise of the many myriad levels we know….’

This is really quite amazing and one wonders who has carried on his research and could that person be contacted? I have also been pondering over what this means regarding the evolution of the human species. Roger Fouts’ work with chimps caused me to reflect a lot about evolution. His focus throughout the book was on the issue of language, sign/gestural and spoken. The issue brought up in my journal entry was on forms and how they arise out of a ‘densification’ of Time. I went on to ponder over how destiny could not be altered unless that densification of time was not understood and how destiny was packed into matter. Of course the question of how the human form took shape and when it entered the evolutionary process is the most fascinating part in all this. Let’s see who can come up with a connection/contact with those who are carrying on Kosyrev’s research. Thea, 19.4.2015

Density in the sense you’re using the term has to do with inertia yes? Matter seems ‘dense’ because it exhibits inertia. The aether/consciousness is non-inertial and so appears ‘non-dense’, or the ‘purest manifestation of Time’ as you put it (pure vibratory existence).

In aetherometry, the inertia of matter is due to its stable structure (both spatial and temporal), and a kind of subconsient will for self preservation. The timings of an electron, for example, are invariably fixed at around 10^^15 and 10^^20 vibrations per second. It is this fixing of the frequencies to a set rate, and the ‘will’ of the electron to hold to them no matter what, which causes inertia… whereas in the aether, electric frequencies vary freely in response to local fluctuations. In this sense, Matter is certainly energy locked in time, or rather locked by time – energy made inertial by fixing time in place. Stabilisation of the time manifold seems to be the key.

I don’t know what instruments Kozyrev used in his research; I know the Correas have similar devices, which measure the ambipolar bio-electric field of the body. It should be common knowledge by now that thoughts and emotions are vibrations of an aetheric substance, but science is in deep denial of life and consciousness. Nassim Haramein, who Brian mentioned in another topic, is one person who has carried Kozyrev’s line of research, especially as it relates to ‘torsion fields’, – although he still tries to express it all in Einstein’s mathematical framework, so it kind of falls flat.

I have no background in these scientific matters, but what seems curious to me is the use of the term ‘inertia’ applied to matter which has measurable frequentcies which means movement. The ‘will’ of the electron is a form of consciousness in matter, the center that holds?

      This is all fascinating Thea.

Arinaya, can you expand on your comment regarding Nassim’s work (‘he still tries to express it all in Einstein’s mathematical framework, so it kind of falls flat’) in the recent post regarding his work?

I looked up Torsion and found Torsion Field in Wiki … and this whole branch of science is discredited by mainstream science. I would like to have a better understanding of what a Torsion Wave/Field is. So I will look forward to any explainations that are accessible to non-scientists.

It makes sense to me that Matter is the densification of Time, … the densification of ALL contained in time (Past, Present and Future) … and it is phenomenal that we can observe this via knowing the correct zero point and following the cyclical movement. But I don’t have much of a feel for how the densification of Time can be utilized for telepathy, telekinisis or altering matter. I just haven’t thought about this before, in these terms I suppose. Is this because the closer one comes to that point/portal, where Time becomes matter, one’s thoughts or intentions become rapidly if not instantly manifested? One becomes Time in a sense? Clearly there are inbuilt protections regarding this center point, otherwise, there would be even more chaos in the world than there already is from the whims of the mental/egoic.

It all makes me think of the Supramental Manifestation in a slightly different light … and the evolutionary process. … All along there would COME A TIME (or times) when we would be able to connect to the infinite conntained in our own manifestation, via the densification/solidification/manifestation of that infinite, and then everything would naturally change via that new knowledge/connection. It is nice to think of the whole world having to come to terms with this … all of the pressures, all of the work being done …

David Wilcox’s Divine Cosmos website has a long article on Kosyrev, the whole field of torsion waves and much more. Referring to both Russian and western scientists who have been influenced by his Kosyrev’s work. He was imprisoned for 10 yrs, got out and was sent back for very strange reasons and was supposed to be executed, but scientists intervened because without his genius they would not be able to do some very important work. He had a spiritual awakening in prison and saw the patterns that exist in matter and the subtle world. There is also a Reference section at the end with citations.  http://divinecosmos.com/start-here/books-free-online/20-the-divine-cosmos/95-the-divine-cosmos-chapter-01-the-breakthroughs-of-dr-na-kozyrev

In a you tube video on Kozyrev they talked about his work with concave mirrors and that this work continued in Russia after he died  reporting that past, present and future seemed to intersect in these experiments. They referenced “Indian Temples” where golden polished concave mirrors were used to predict the future implying that they were being used in modern times and that “prophets” from many traditions had used them.

I am up to the section 1.6 on the website on Kozyrev (JC’s latest reply) – and have a lot more to learn. But so far I find it interesting that He, like Sri Aurobindo, found his deepest insights while confined to jail – as he mused on the mysteries of the universe, discovering that all life draws off energy from nature to sustain itself. And later discovering that the flow of Time is that pure spiraling movement/source  – stars, planets act as machines that convert the flow of time into heat and light by their dual movements of rotation and revolution (torsion fields)…

Thanks for the resource material – i gather that next he will tell us that the human field is the same – and here is where Thea’s yoga/research comes in (?) – the dual movements of contraction/expansion of time/consciousness are the spiraling movements/sources of sustenance in the individual..

The ability to know past, present and future seems to indicate the ability to penetrate the Zero (intentional or not) where the three times are compressed. I just wrote recently that: when psychics predict the future they are penetrating that Zero. But since it is on the other side of the reversal horizon, it is not sequential and therefore they often err on the exact time of the event. This happened in my regard with the reading of the psychic my brother met and how she foresaw correctly that I would leave the ashram, or that I would have to turn to outside help, but the time sequence was wrong. This is because they sometimes penetrate the Zero Womb and the compression of the three times. It is Simultaneous Time and the realisation is described in TMC, Chapter 10. In the myth the clock is its symbol with past, present, and future, but NO HANDS as in a normal clock.

I don’t really know about the frequencies Arinaya mentions and this aetherometry, but clearly the New Way and the Supramental Yoga and Cosmology is closer to the mark, but it bypasses the stumbling-block they experience since I approach it all fresh, having no scientific background.

Kosyrev jailed! My Lord, save us from the fundamentalists of all hues – left, right, and all. Now in Maharastra they are going completely wild. It is a very dark wave that is griping the whole world.

I’ll check the Kosyrev sites. Thanks. Thea

      Good morning,

18 years ago around this time of year I watched a television program on the local TV network airing none other than Robert Wilkinson. I sought him out. I was 36 and as of today (about a month ago) I am 54… 30 years ago Thea wrote A Dawn Meditation, a piece which I somehow skirted and printed out from one of our discussion groups. I was cleaning out my office recently and came across a few bits of treasure, this being one and thought I would repost it by way of saying hello… ENJOY! I certainly did/do. Thank you Thea.

      A Dawn Meditation

It may be helpful to start your day by a 15 minute or so concentration, which could take the form of a dedication—dedicating the day to the divine and with the prayer that it serve to make you a better instrument. Or whatever you feel at the moment is necessary for the Dedication. This should be regular, and there should be an effort at serious concentration of the consciousness. Then you should do the same in the evening, before sleep: this should take the form of a collection of the consciousness, drawing all the spread out threads back to a point, again, by means of a serious concentration. This is different than meditation. The morning exercise is like a movement of expansion. The image is aptly the Dawn: the consciousness is like the Sun in its early rise…. And then its rays spread and the Light increases. The aspiration should be to maintain a center the midst of this expanding. That is, the consciousness, though increasing and spreading because of daily activity, is nonetheless collected. There is not dispersal. There is a controlled diffusion. Concentrate on the image of the Sun for this, and its occult symbol (à) can help to realize this poise.

On the other hand, the night concentration should serve to gather one’s consciousness to a point—a movement of contraction, drawing all those Rays inward and positing them in the Divine Centre of your being. The morning concentration offers the being as an instrument for the Divine consciousness to expand and infuse the atmosphere with the Light. The night concentration again is an offering, but as if one were offering the most intimate areas of one’s being for sole habitation with the divine, whereby the movement of contraction, a concentration of Light, of energy comes into being. It is a time to concentrate on the formation of a seed. And it is that seed, those collected energies, the result of the experiences of the day which have been put through a sort of sieve in the consciousness that is the seed which blossoms the net day in the experience of expansion.

About Torsion fields and Kosyrev it all sounds so reminiscent of  the tachyon field. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tachyon) I have experimented with this concept not long ago by attempting to ‘charge up’ each day at sunrise…. too much to go into here but there is a palpable experience I felt… I have very little scientific skill so cannot speak to the process more than that… other than I felt something… like my hair standing on end for example… and more… supposedly Niels Bohr and Nikola Tesla were interested in this energy field…

Thanks, Tim. I am happy to have this exercise brought to my attention again. It has not been in the forefront, but there will be a time when it will be the THING as far as ‘meditation’ goes. This answer more to the Mother’s instruction that the Inner Chamber was not a place of meditation but of concentration.

About Tachyons, I don’t know in what way this would relate to Kosyrev’s work. My interest in him was because he was dealing with Time in a special and innovative way that coincided with my yogic work. But what this brings up is that certainly path-breaking science involves a speed faster than light. Clearly this lies in our immediate future; but it is also clear that a very different approach or mindset would have to gain supremacy in order for the new seeing to be accepted. First of all a new balance/poise in the individual would have to be ‘stabilised’ (in a proportionate representation of the spices) to shift the axial point from the sex/ego centre. The new axis would have to be established and operating in the evolution so that almost of its own, organically so to speak, suddenly a new speed takes over. Together with that would be acceptance of a lot of things that are now suppressed.

We have seen this in our own work. I am re-reading Tenth operating/1, and this path has been truly difficult. I always considered myself a ‘contingency plan’, a Plan B or sorts, because I had to keep coming up with new ways to skirt the machinations of the adversary. The Matrimandir Saga was such a perfect field to carry out that Yoga.

And here we are today. When I read the chapters on my Plunge, and when I reflect on what came later – centering, re-alignment, and so forth in 1983-4 – and how I new in both cases that something had occurred that would changes things forever on Earth, I am amazed at how I kept going in spite of no conclusive evidence. There was more in the 80s because that truly did bring an end to the Binary Creation. But regarding the Matrimandir there was always the question of having to watch while the Shadow great bigger (in the name of the Mother) and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it, except counter the negative effects to some extent. That would be through the Light, bringing more and more Light into the atmosphere embraced by the Work. Standing as the Power of the Present in the Supramental Descent, you can understand how difficult it was for me to acquire the patience that Sri Aurobindo and the Mother had, as they put it, We have eternity before us. This was decidedly NOT my poise, I regret to say.

I read thhis at the end of the Chapter JC referred to. It is an appropriate addition to my last post about a real revolution in perception and plain old mindset that will have to come about before we see the true thing emerge. I am quite confident that my new Paradsigm will play a part in all this because of the connection made between gravity/contraction and Time. This impies beyond the event horizon (have to have another word for this!):

.22 DIFFICULTY IN COMBINING KOZYREV’S VIEWS WITH MAINSTREAM SCIENCE

Kozyrev’s views are not quickly or easily assimilated by the mainstream scientific community, especially in the West, because the magnitudes of the effects he measured are quite small.

For example, the additional forces that were introduced in his mechanical experiments changed the weight of the objects being studied by a mere factor of 10^-4 to 10^-5, such as the gyroscope that would only become 100 milligrams lighter when rotating and vibrating at the same time.

In order to appreciate how small of a change this is, remember that a certain active ingredient that was added to a vitamin pill might have 100 milligrams of weight on the label.

      As Kozyrev himself puts it,

“The experimental results show that the organizing property of time exerts a very small influence on systems [of matter such as stars,] compared with the usual, destructive course of their development. Therefore it is not surprising that this… entity has been missed in our system of scientific knowledge. However, being small, it is distributed everywhere in nature, and only the possibility of its being stored is needed” (Kozyrev 1982, p.71).

I was just sent a poem from a family friend called ‘Some Timely Comments.’ He wrote it, about Time being a friend, in 1973, and for whatever reason sent this on to me this past week. I don’t believe he knows anything about what I study. He’s given me permission to share it (click on link above).

My sister-in-law in VIrginia responded to this poem with a link to something from IONS’ magazine (Noetic Now Journal) which is very fitting with our discussion/work:

What exactly is the fourth dimension? Most people say it’s time. But time may only be our perception of change in the three-dimensional spatial world. Would you notice the passage of time if nothing ever changed in your external or internal world? Our physical selves may simply be three-dimensional beings who experience the sensation of time when one three-dimensional world changes into another.

Some argue that embedded within the world of a four-dimensional space is every possible moment of every possible three-dimensional world. Indeed, the mathematics of four dimensions, first explored in a serious way by mathematician Charles Hinton in the late 1800s, teaches us that each four-dimensional now is a gateway to everything, everywhere, in every moment of every three-dimensional universe.1 So if we actually possessed and could access a four-dimensional part of our selves, we too might have instant access to not only all of three-dimensional space but also to the past and every one of our possible futures. Mind-boggling! Recently, quantum physicist Lisa Randall pointed out that the existence of higher spatial dimensions is required by theories, such as string theory, that attempt to model a unified field.2 As a result, even conventionally minded physicists are beginning to accept the reality of such higher dimensions. [from The Magic Ocean of Energy and Resonance by Amy L. Lansky, PhD]

From the time Thea first posted this thread, the feeling of the convergce of All Time on the moment has become more and more palpable, real, and just dazzling really. The experience of perfection in detail – the perfection of what Time has DELIVERED in the Present moment – brings with it so much Joy … and the invitation/command to ENJOY IT!

Here’s the whole artice which I quoted above. The author has many interesting observations, but still is quite confused about time. At one point she get’s it right and says: ‘ You are a cooperative participant in the vast and magical oceanic universe that includes all of space and time.’ Then imediately follows that statement with a negation of that vast totality by writing, ‘In fact, you realize that time is now meaningless or gone. And because you sense the entire spatial scope of the ocean, space seems to be meaningless or gone as well.’ She writes of healing modalities (homeopathy) in terms of the ‘Law of Similars’ and synchronicity. It is interesting on many fronts, but especially in terms of what Thea has recently written about the role of Time in healing … and how much we have to learn on these fronts. This article/author reminds me of how consciousness pushes towards the truth, through whatever membranes or sheaths of ignorance that we still carry with us from the past.

The Magic Ocean of Energy and Resonance

      by Amy L. Lansky, PhD

Imagine you are a fish in the ocean. All around you, in every direction, are the wonders of the sea. Through the sensation of touch, you feel the ocean waves and the information that is embedded within them. Not only can you sense the swaying of plant life and the gentle eddies created by other fish swimming nearby, but when you tune in very deeply, you detect subtle information transmitted by ocean activity far away. Was that vibration created by a giant whale you saw last week, or was it the more artificial sensation of a distant ocean liner?

As you close your eyes and settle in more deeply, you begin to sense even more information. Now you notice subtle wavelets crisscrossing the ocean waters that envelop you. These wavelets encode information about what happened in the distant past, even at locations far away. As you gently ride the waves, you realize that embedded within these waters is the entire history of the sea. If you could tune in just a bit better, would you sense what happened to your fish ancestors long ago?

Suddenly you become aware of a gentle force field surrounding you. It seems to carry a faint glow of light and color, and its subtle vibration creates a tingling sensation within you. When you look very closely, the other fish nearby seem to have the same glow about them. It’s all very exciting and new, and you decide to settle in even deeper.

You are resting very quietly now—so quietly that at some level, everything around you disappears. Simultaneously, you have somehow become even more deeply aware. A switch seems to have been activated within you. The very same ocean that you have been swimming in your entire life has now become magical—an ocean of awareness that is alive and pulsing with new information.

You now realize that the subtle energy force field surrounding you has expanded even farther and that it links you to this newly expanded awareness. If you tune yourself in a particular way—like tuning to a distant radio station—you find that you can make out information coming from the future! In fact, you begin to realize that you can make out signals that arrive from every possible future that lies before you, as well as from your past. Much to your surprise, you also discover that you are not only receiving this information, but you are transmitting it as well. You are a cooperative participant in the vast and magical oceanic universe that includes all of space and time. In fact, you realize that time is now meaningless or gone. And because you sense the entire spatial scope of the ocean, space seems to be meaningless or gone as well.

As you may have guessed by now, that fish is you and me, and the magic ocean is our deeper conscious universe. It is accessible not only to empowered, awakened “guru” fish but also to every other fish swimming in the sea. In my view, it can be better explained and understood when we accept that we are part of a universe that exists in four- and even higher-dimensional space. Just as a flat worm wiggling on a completely flat surface would be mind-boggled and liberated if some aspect of its being could access the deeper three-dimensional world, each one of us would experience a vast broadening of our awareness if we learned how to access a four-, five-, or even higher-dimensional aspect of ourselves.

Tuning In through Resonance

Remember all of the information that the fish could sense in the ocean? How exactly might we tune in to the vast sea of consciousness that may exist in higher dimensions of space? There is evidence from many different spheres of research that just as the fish detected information as a wave, information embedded within our universe is encoded as vibration. We can detect this subtle information by learning to align or resonate with it. We simply need to get “on the right wavelength.”

Consider, for example, the work of British biologist Rupert Sheldrake on the morphic field, which he believes not only determines how our physical bodies are formed but also informs the biological evolutionary process itself.3 For instance, he has used the principle of morphic resonance to explain how species have been able to evolve in similar ways at diverse, distant locations on the planet, even when there has been no possible means of physical interaction between them. Perhaps our genetic material is merely a kind of energy receiver that picks up transmissions from the greater morphic field. Interestingly,

[Sheldrake’s] theory of morphic resonance also depends upon similarity in vibration. Members of the same species, being “on the same wavelength,” are able to tap into information that pertains uniquely to them . . . [W]hile members of an entire species might be able to tune into a fairly broad spectrum of frequencies (think of Carl Jung’s notion of thecollective unconscious that humans supposedly tap into), smaller, more tightly connected groups—such as members of the same family or loving couples—resonate in more focused zones of vibration; they have access to their own “private frequency.” In fact, Sheldrake goes even further and suggests that morphic fields can explain how human memory operates. He suggests that instead of being stored in our brains, memories are stored in the morphic field. Our brains then pick them up via resonance, like radios tuning to their own private stations.4

The science of the paranormal has repeatedly verified a variety of phenomena that defy the normal constraints of time and space. If a deeper or greater part of ourselves has access to four or higher dimensions, it is understandable why this may be true. Psi research indicates again that communication within this realm may involve resonance, or similarity in vibration. For example, the “Love Study” conducted by IONS scientists Dean Radin and Marilyn Schlitz found that the brain waves and other body measurements of couples engaged in transmittingand receiving healing intentions literally became synchronized.5

Similarly, individuals gifted at psychokinesis—the ability to affect physical objects with the mind—report the experience as a feeling of resonance. In fact, the power of similar vibrations has even been picked up by machines. In one study, IONS’ Dean Radin and Roger Nelson of Princeton University placed random number generators at a variety of venues, such as music concerts and sporting events, where participants were all on the same wavelength. Just being in the presence of these events caused the machines to deviate from their normal random output. Radin and Nelson then decided to place these devices at locations all over the world to see if they could pick up on major world events. Over a period of ten years, they found that the machines did indeed respond—especially to events that were tragic. Not surprisingly, the most striking effects were observed on 9/11.6 [For more information, visit the Global Consciousness Project.]

Perhaps the power of similar vibrations isn’t surprising. That’s how holograms work—devices that can recreate a three-dimensional image from a two-dimensional one. As Michael Talbot suggests in The Holographic Universe, our three-dimensional brains and other aspects of our three-dimensional world might simply be devices for storing and accessing higher-dimensional realities.7 The way holographic information is picked up is by using similar vibration or resonance—in the case of a hologram, by shining a light on an image that vibrates at the same frequency as the laser that created it. Once again, it’s all about getting onto the right wavelength.

The Healing Power of Similar Vibrations

The power of similar vibrations is at work in other realms too. In fact, it is the foundation of homeopathic medicine. Fundamental to most alternative forms of medicine is the existence of an energy body. In Chinese medicine, this energy field is called chi, in homeopathy it’s called the vital force, and in some esoteric teachings it is the etheric body. This subtle energetic aspect of ourselves can also be detected visually by some people—as a faint glow of light or an aura, like the one that surrounded the fish in the magic ocean. In energy-based medicine, the etheric body is understood to be the fundamental lattice upon which the physical body is built, and it is disturbances within this field that are the true origins of disease. While alternative practitioners usually detect these etheric disturbances using observable physical, emotional, mental, and behavioral symptoms, true healing must nevertheless take place within the etheric body itself. In homeopathy, this treatment is achieved by matching the vibrations of a patient with the vibrations of a remedy.

The word homeopathy literally means similar (homeo) suffering (pathy), and practitioners of homeopathy choose medicines for their patients based on a principle of cure called the Law of Similars. . . If a substance is shown experimentally to cause a specific pattern of emotional, physical, and behavioral symptoms in healthy test subjects, then that substance can be prepared so that it can cure individuals suffering from the same pattern of symptoms. In other words, homeopathy is the science of healing based on similarity of vibration. The Law of Similars essentially says that “like cures like.” Bring two things of like vibration together—the remedy and the patient—and the effect will be a cure of the patient’s disease.

Here’s a simple illustration. We all know the common effects of drinking coffee: wakefulness, a mind full of thoughts, excited happiness, acute senses, and sometimes heart palpitations and diarrhea. These symptoms are manifestations of the vibration of coffee, and coffee imparts these qualities to those who drink it. Now, if a patient comes to a homeopath seeking help for chronic insomnia and the insomnia is characterized by an overactive mind, excitement, acuteness of the senses, heart palpitations, and diarrhea, it is likely that the homeopath will prescribe Coffea Cruda—a remedy prepared from coffee. That’s because this patient manifests the same vibrational qualities as coffee. And if the remedy is truly homeopathic to the patient—that is, if coffee’s vibrational qualities match his or her overall emotional, mental, and physical state—it has the potential to completely cure the insomnia, not just palliate it as a sleeping pill would do.8

How do we know that a homeopathic remedy actually carries a substance’s vibration? These vibrations have recently been scientifically measured and even transmitted! A substance’s vibration is captured through a process called potentization, which involves repeated dilution and vigorous shaking, or succussion. German physician and chemist Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843), the founder of homeopathy, discovered this process through repeated experimentation. He found that not only could it convey the power of a physical substance into a dilution but also the more highly dilute a remedy was, the more powerful its action—even remedies that no longer contained a single molecule of the original substance.

Of course, the power of these homeopathic ultradilutions has always been controversial. Recent studies, however, have discovered that it is indeed succussion that enables theimprinting of information or vibration to occur. The first noted research of this phenomenon was published in Nature in 1988 by French scientist Jacques Benveniste.9 He described how a solution exposed to antibodies and then diluted and agitated in a way similar to potentization still manifested the specific properties of those antibodies. Because he suspected that an electromagnetic signal had been conveyed into the dilution, Benveniste then developed an apparatus that could digitally record it. In subsequent experiments, he transmitted this signal electronically—via email—to a distant laboratory and had the vibratory signal “replayed” into water there. Amazingly, the resulting water caused the same effects as the original substance. Benveniste eventually conducted several blinded experiments using this protocol and published a paper about his results in the Journal of Clinical Immunology in 1997.10 More recently, Nobel prizewinner Luc Montagnier (who made the connection between HIV and AIDS) discovered the same kinds of properties of ultradilutions of DNA.11

Of course, while the power of potentization to capture the vibrational quality of any substance is remarkable, it is the use of the Law of Similars that yields homeopathy’s curative effects. Hahnemann posited several explanations for this phenomenon. One was that in supplying a vibratory signal that is similar to a patient’s vital force, a remedy triggers a resonance that strengthens the energy body and enables it to heal. Another explanation jibes with current understanding of chaos theory. First, disease is understood as a fixation of the energy body in an unhealthy state. The energy of a similar remedy serves as “faux disease” that the energy body latches onto—a positive attractor within the etheric field. As the remedy’s effects fade, however, the energy body now finds itself liberated from its previous rigid posture and able to heal.12

      A Synchronized Universe?

Interestingly, this latter explanation of homeopathy has been compared to the phenomenon of synchronicity—another area in which the power of similar vibrations is likely key. First identified by psychiatrist Carl Jung, a synchronicity occurs when two somehow meaningfully related events co-occur. Synchronicities are those amazing “coincidences,” like when a beloved watch stops at the moment of its owner’s death. Edward Whitmont, a student of Jung and a renowned homeopath, suggested that the energy of a remedy and of a similar disease state are essentially part of the same synchronistic field and therefore can substitute for each other.13 In fact, the world of medicine is full of such phenomena—for example, when a psychological disease interchanges with a somatic disease that is symbolically related to it. That’s why annoyance can lead to a literal “pain in the neck” or why living in a habitual state of anger gets us “pissed off” and leads to kidney disease.

The effectiveness of homeopathic treatment—the second most used form of medicine in the world—and the fact that homeopathic remedies do transmit a vibration to the body provide physical evidence that synchronicities may occur because of similarity in vibration. As a result,

[T]he universe may not be operating like a cold, meaningless machine after all. Instead, the reality we experience each day may be flooded with fields of meaning . . . Each field of meaning has a particular vibration to it, andobjects, individuals, emotions, dreams, and events with similar vibrations will tend to resonate with one another and then co-occur. This is what creates synchronicities . . . There may be another fundamental mechanism at play in our universe besides cause and effect . . . [S]ynchronicity—the co-occurrence of events within the same field of meaning—may be another fundamental reason why things tend to happen.14

      A Sea of Active Consciousness

The infinitely complex field (or ocean) of information that surrounds us—the higher-dimensional unified field of consciousness—interacts with us in myriad ways. First we see the normal consequences of our actions—A causes B causes C. In addition, similarly vibrating fields of meaning within the ocean bring helpful and even curative synchronicities into our lives. How can we connect with it all?

Our glowing etheric body provides a clue. We are more than our physical bodies. Interpenetrating our physical form are energetic aspects of ourselves that extend far beyond the etheric level—according to many teachings, they include the astral body, the mental body, andthe causal body. These energy bodies may literally provide us with a way to link up and interact with the higher-dimensional consciousness field—by tapping into the mechanism of similar vibrations. That is what the wisdom teachings of many recent teachers are all about—being in the “same vibration” as one’s goals.15

What is the trigger that can activate the awareness and power of our true higher-dimensional selves? The gateway, according to most of humanity’s wisdom traditions, is thenow. Remember: as our fish rested in the stillness and quiet of the ocean in a state of present and loving awareness, it was suddenly propelled into a greater and expanded oceanic world. So can it be for us. By developing what I call active consciousness—a deep form of awareness that not only passively receives information from the greater consciousness field but also acts, interacts, creates, and manifests within it—humanity may finally fulfill its greatest potential.

Lori, I will get to reading the article you posted in a while; I have been very much engrossed in the Agenda reading (1961) and can’t seem to pull myself away! What has particularly struck me in regard to this discussion is the emphasis the Mother makes on the question of densification with respect to the Supermind, that one usually imagines it as a RISE in consciousness to the more ethereal heights and that there one joins the truth-conscious summit; after which one returns with that, etc.. She states that it was Theon who, together with Mrs Theon, were ‘forerunners’ of this Work (of bringing down the Supermind (though they called it something else) and the establishment of the new order, the new heaven and the new earth) and that he described it as ‘more dense’.  This is a long discussion about how both Theon and Sri Aurobindo found that the materiality, if it may be so called, of the New Creation would be more ‘dense’ and not more ethereal, as most believe. The entry is 2.10.1961. I translated the relevant portions but lost it as I tried to paste in here, so no time to re-do it. This is enough food for thought. Cheers.

Just now catching up on this thread.

This is all fascinating Thea. Arinaya, can you expand on your comment regarding Nassim’s work (‘he still tries to express it all in Einstein’s mathematical framework, so it kind of falls flat’) in the recent post regarding his work?

Haramein extends relativity by introducing another temporal component (adding torque to spacetime), and in this sense it seems to be related to Kosyrev’s torsion fields, at least in principle. However, in Haramein’s case, the addition of an added temporal component actually changes nothing, because Time is still factored out of the equation (in the normal relativistic manner). It falls flat because it collapses all notions of Time into an abstract differential geometry (in space).

What I find fascinating is the difficulty that one faces in connecting the new way to the scientific domain. I used to think it should be simple, but now I’m not sure that it is even possible, simply because they proceed un such different foundations. This morning I’ve been seeing the entire scientific enterprise as a vast projection of a fragmented mental consciousness onto the body of the real. The mind atomizes everything, and can never truly think in terms of a global unity. Even its grandest unified theories are but the tip of an iceberg. In this way also, it falls flat.

I don’t really know about the frequencies Arinaya mentions and this aetherometry, but clearly the New Way and the Supramental Yoga and Cosmology is closer to the mark, but it bypasses the stumbling-block they experience since I approach it all fresh, having no scientific background.

I know, nobody knows about aetherometry. I bring it up from time to time because it is a viable alternative to Relativity (simpler, more complete) and gives Tesla’s (and Kozyrev’s) findings a self-consistent theoretical basis. Whether this is of any value in face of your work, is another question; one which I am not yet able to answer.

Having bypassed the stumbling blocks, is there no more need for science? I really wonder about this sometimes, because on one hand it is so pivotal to modern society, and on the other hand it is so clearly a movement of the ignorance. Are there bridges to be built, or do we leave the whole thing behind to collapse under its own weight?

Lori and all, I hope this reaches you! What is so fascinating is that my first ‘lost’ comment somehow found its way to the Forum (God knows how all that got done!). The fact is there was much more to comment on, and this I did in the second entry; the first was waiting for me to do just that! ` I appreciate your further comments, accompanied by Sri Aurobindo’s passages. What a treasure we have at our fingertips! Someday all this will be appreciated. For me in many ways it is a joyous time because I am reading the Agendas and discovering that much of what she was labouring to establish has been done, is being done. I will present these discoveries as we move on in this Forum. The only problem is that I have AGAIN put off Book Two of 10th Day. And with the mini-hydroelectric project on the table, and a host of other things, who knows if I will ever get that done. But, as you see from the portion of Volume One you have quoted, it is important to record all this. This is the only guide we have into this revolutionary new future. Thea

Now the message I sent to Arinaya to post, because I couldn’t get it done, is up there! I suppose we have kinks to work out…

Be this as it may, your question is valid, Arinaya. I think that what has to be bypassed is not science as such, within which is all the technology we enjoy, but rather it is a question of ‘putting each thing in its place’. I remember when I asked Marty what it would mean to establish a new speed, replacing the constant of Einstein et al, his reply for me meant that within the context of that world, with all its attending circumstances, it would hold (the speed of light); if that circle expands (the introduction of a new principle, the Supermind) it would not hold. So, to reply to you I would say the same thing. But there is more.

I wrote about the Circle (Keys of Knowledge), look at it within that context because it really does the trick: The science we know, Relativity and all, is a product of the Circle where only three quarters are known. Life and evolution go on, but the world we have created for ourselves with the science we know has the limitation of not being able to carry us to the fourth quarter – or opening up that quarter to the Earth’s experience through the evolving human consciousness. This is truly revolutionising. It turns everything upside down. This means that we are not discarding anything (destructive method, now surpassed), we are opening up the circle of consciousness and all that goes with it by another quarter. That brings ‘heaven’ upon Earth – because within our consciousness, we have become accommodated to only three quarters; hence religions have stepped in to fill the void by realising that it was a good way to trap humanity: offering a ‘solution’ to one’s miseries that can never been proven – heaven/hell after death. This was a masterful stroke of the Asura, truly.

Rebelling against that nonsense brought the birth of western science, secularism and all the rest. It is time to go beyond. Having stated that, clearly the baseline has to be entirely different. It has to be the FULL CIRCLE for starts, which automatically starts with an entirely new paradigm, one that in its very essence draws the ‘other side’ into the formulation. That is why we cannot build on the old. Nothing of that holds in the New Way, because only on new foundations can each thing be put in its place. Not only is the edifice new, for that newness to come into being, entirely new foundations had to be laid. This was the pioneering work of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. Thea

      Dear Madame Theaji,

The following  article you have quoted  is surely interesting with the physical explanation of consciousness. Vedas also give us the physical aspect of consciousness. When we say the sun is our Atma it is the very physical cause of our Truth consiousness and of life itself.

      You quoted as follows:

      thea wrote:

In the latest Atlantis Rising (March/April 2015, #110) there is an interesting article, ‘Physics with a Twist, Understanding Torsion and the Mystery of Consciousness), by Brendan Murphy. He cites the work of Dr A.A Kosyrev, among others. If you recall I mention Kosyrev in Volume 1 of TNW and his work with Time, the energy he believed was ‘locked in Time’. I quote as per the article, ‘He discovered that human thoughts and feelings generate torsion waves. Changes in mechanical systems produced subtle alterations in the density of time, the etheric medium, as did gravity, thunderstorms, changes in season, and changes in matter density.>Please note that our consciousness is truly created by the Earth-moon barycenter as per  the version of the Vedas.. This is the ‘etheric medium’ which is nothing but the gravitational center of the weight of the earth and the moon put together. Our Om symbol is a very good representation of the unified field theory contained therein. The three lines of the OM symbol represent the three qualities ( gunas) which are nothing but the electrical, magnetic and gravitational fields of the earth linked to the sun and the moon. The crescent of the moon represent the gravitational pull of the moon to our human brain. Note that Shiva wears the moon upon his forehead. The point within the crescent of the Om symbol represents the ether itself which is linked to the sun. This is the universal gravitational field of the sun known as the EM barycenter or Suryamsha Purusha…( the Person linked to the sun)

<Likewise, Kosyrev found that consciousness also affected time density. Emotional thoughts produced larger effects on his equipment than did intellectual thoughts….’ It is very interesting that this article brings out the fact that Kosyrev connected these experiments to the emotional/vital. And truly that is the ‘layer’ upon which Time acts – the vital force, prana, the bridge from the other side. If he were alive (apparently he died in 1983) I would certainly have tried my best to contact him. I intuited then that his work was outstanding among other scientists; it brought me to want to delve deeply into the then Soviet Union’s experiments in the paranormal for TNW, if you read the notes I made of the outline for the book, as recorded in my journal in the beginning of 1976.’ The quote continues regarding how the experiments registered more strongly when the emotions were involved: ‘In a conference in 1985 one of his colleagues explained how he was able to register stronger changes when reading Faust (his favourite), “while mathematical calculations did not cause pointer deflections.”… Thus Kosyrev believed that our thoughts could change the density of time. He believed that in mastering the ability to make time dense at will, we would be able to make telepathy occur at will. Under his conception psi phenomena would be stripped of their paranormal trappings and accepted into the world of natural phenomena. These are just a few of the reasons that Sheila Ostrander and Lynn Schroeder identified Kosyrev as possibly the most important scientist they spoke with in research for their classic book Psychic Discoveries Behind the Iron Curtain (p.160-9)…’ Now if he had lived and the work I have done on the new paradigm, he would surely have used those discoveries in his work. ‘If you think of torsion waves as connections in the realm of time (or space-time/ ether/implicate order), then instantaneous, telepathic communications between people separated by thousands of miles becomes more comprehensible – and less “paranormal”….’ Certainly here we are in the realm of Simultaneous Time, the three times compacted into the Zero. Perhaps it requires an Indian scientist to make the real breakthrough. How fascinating that this has fallen into my hands, resurrected from the past. How fascinating.

      >

The Vedic interpretations are infallible and more exact than all these scientific experiments of trial and error..Because the Rishis have felt it in the true and the exact sense with their internal sense. No guess work here. Thus my insistence to our friends to learn more about the EM Barycenter. Let the people of Christian background be more conscious of it so that they will in time appreciate the need to celebrate festivals by the luni-solar dates and not by just tropical dates. Let us learn some thing from the Moslems too. They are over attached to the lunar dates to counter act to the Christain giving up of the lunar dates and taking the tropical date only…

      Dear madame Theaji,

As I have mentiend previously in arriving at the physical wave of consciousness, we should not forget that these are cause by the earth and the moon as they chase each other while they both go around the sun. This is also known as the play of shri Krishna when Krishna is said to be the meeting point of the earth and the moon. Consiousness is known  as the Purusha in he Vedic philosophies. The earth core is known as Prakriti. Prakriti is the energy, time or the  material cause of life. Purusha or the monthly sun point is the efficient cause of life. These are also known as Shriva and Shakti and are quite physical things. This is how we can find the scientific basis of conciousness which also matches with our Vedas and  the Bible.

In the Eastern literature, we have shri Krishna to represent the Purusha or Cosicousness, who is said to be of the lunar dynasty..In the Christian literature this is the resurrected Jesus on Sunday..Sunday is the lunar baryceenter which also represents our Conscousness or Spirit. Friday is the center of shakti, the day Jesus ws crucified. and which may be designated by (Parvati) or Rukmani in Mahabharat. Saturday is the intercalary lunar month representd by Balaram which in the Christian literature we have the Jesus lying dead on Saturday..Since only after Jesus dies on saturday, we can have the rise or resurrecton on Sunday, we have Balaram as the elder brother and Krishna as the younger brother in the Mahabharat story.

Hope you will agree with my above comparision  Madame.
